Training & Educational Services
Biometric Services International (BSI) provides equipment and staff resources to conduct a number of defined and customer-directed training programs for both managers and technicians as required by various contracts and clients.
BSI conducted interviews and inquiries in the biometric community to determine what practitioners in the field thought was most needed in training. Based on those findings, courses and curriculum development were initiated to fill identified gaps in available biometric training. The result was the construction of three biometric training courses:
- A 4-Hour Introduction to Biometrics course
- A 3 day Biometric Operations Training course for operators and managers, practitioners and technicians
- A Biometric Technical Training course for biometric technicians/engineers
Additional offerings from the BSI Training Services Division include:
- Train-the-trainer programs
- Curriculum development for higher educational entities
- Consultant services for various client training programs
Training Services is also developing biometric practitioner and technician certification programs.
The National Biometric Security Project has been reviewed and approved as an Authorized Provider by The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 8405 Greensboro Drive, Suite 800, McLean, VA 22102-5120.
